Lying in the harbor in between trips at sea is an easy period for the people on the ship. Time to write in the diary or to write lettters to people at home.
This shot was taken in the harbour of Scheveningen.

j'aime beaucoup cette photo parce que c'est une ambiance et un moment que je connais bien :o)
Le carnet est indispensable à bord d'un bateau pour garder trace des petits moments de bonheur :o)
Beaucoup de naturel dans cette image comme un instant volé...

A nice sort of portrait. The maritime feeling is there thanks to the deatails but to make a better picture of the girl I think you should crop away the windowframe.

A fine setting for a portrait, Jan. The girl's expression is well captured, seemingly focused on writing some sort of diary, and I like how she is seen among the distinctive harbor surroundings like the boat parts, the ropes and the window. Nice work.
