Photographer’s Note

Thisd is the second macro that I post. The first one was removed for reasons I do not understand.
The macro lens is ab perfect instrument to show a hidden world we pass every day without even noticing.
I took this picture in the woods of the North Holland Dune Reserve. I noticed the colour and my litlle friend stood still as if it was posing.
Here it is in all its scaring beauty, like it was as big as you are. Thanks to the macro lens.

It's a great macro shot, Gerrit. Its color and appearance makes me think it's made of some kind of 'methalic' element. Excellent sharpness and effective contrast with the greeny context.

une photo technique parfaite, rien à redire.
Les photos d'insectes sont mieux venues sur TN et TL c'est pourquoi sans doute le première fur enlevée.
Belles couleurs et lumières, un bonne maitrise de la photo rapprochée.

I think that in the nature we find the most beautiful colours.The blue of the little insect is gorgeous and so is the green.

Une macro comme celle-ci, Gerrit, ne doit pas êre facile à réaliser. Il faut que l'animal se laisse approcher et c'est très méfiant, non ? J'aime l'attitude et les belles couleurs de cette demoidelle.

An excellent macro, something of little habitual in your photographic work.
It is splendid, has great quality of image that allows us to see all the details of this dragonfly, with a few nice sheens on its body and surrounded with the green color of the leaves.

The dragonflies are generally not easy to take in photograph, they fly away as of our approach. Then I say cheer for this beautiful photograph and qualities of the image. The bokeh is of any beauty and emphasizes well the insect. Pretty glance.
