Somewhere around Keukenhof.
I took my friend from India to the flowerpark Keukenhof last month. He was more impressed by the tulip fields around Keukenhof than actual display at the park.
I took a lot of pictures in this field but there is no texture or detail in the tulips, the reds are totaly blown. Solutions are welcome. (;
Edit: picture not taken in Lisse but in De Zilk. Jan (korbee) corrected me.

Very nicely done shot! The field of red tulips is wonderful, adding so much colour and life to this photo, and also making a good contrast with the blue sky. I like the positioning of the tower in a slightly off centre location to. I like red tulips, as you can tell by looking at my photos! Well done!

The carpet of red contrasts well with the buildings behind and the blue sky. Nice details and your title suits the shot well.

Hi Gilbert! Very beautiful composition, only the light pole disturbs a bit. I see a slight tilt of the frame, I would rotate for half a degree clockwise.
PS What do you mean for details in the tulips? At this resolution, each tulip has no more than some pixels. You can try with a contrast mask, or you can contact me an send me the original file at full resolution (best of all a TIFF from the RAW) so I can try something.
