[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The 15th post in the serie. It is useles now to keep the initial title, "closing from behind" for, like the Te Vega some time (and some pictures) before, Sagres II is not cruising on our side, but not for a long time since her course is already diverging from ours. The framing is once more the best "full frame" I could managed at this time. Unfortunatly, as noticed by Jonathan for the previous one, the sails are on the wrong side and only their inner part is visble here, since the wind comes from our left. However, this gives you an opportunity to see how the square sails can be positioned like a fan, every yard being oriented differently as seen here on the foremast, from the lower one (the most open to the wind) to the highest one (the closest to the wind). (To be continued tomorrow).

Hello Emmanuel,
You have beautiful gallery of these majestic sailing ships. Beautiful photograph. I am amazed that you kept the horizon as even as you did. I will browse and look at more of your photos. Well done!
Stan

Salut Emmanuel,

Hi Emmanuel!

Wow, I am not really sure which option, vertical or horizontal works better, because I think both with a slightly difference does! Light and composition is still awesome, so this point of view doesn´t matter at all. Maybe the flags shine in a more clearly way because of the position, but that´s the only difference.

Thank you so much for your words about my last picture!

Cheers and take care!
Miguel

Bonjour Emmanuel
A great view of the majestic ship Sagres. Love the reflections in the FG. Lovely placement of the horizon, as Sagres with the billowing masts sails gracefully
Regards
Angshu
