I *LOVE* driving down Maasboulevard. I work in the east of Rotterdam and live in the north. The highway is much faster but sometimes I just take this road to enjoy the view. 50km/h, radars everywhere. Window down. A little music on. Driving thru city centre. Watching the people. My people. My city.
Technical: tripod, polarizer, stitched (from 4 images) and HDR (from 2 images each), 8 images total.

Very cool shot, and a great job of stitching together the images. I can relate to driving down roads that may not be the fastest way to get somewhere, but offer a more scenic and a closer view of the city.
Also, enjoyed the FlashEarth link!
Thanks for sharing this, man.

Liekje wants to know what kind of music you enjoy with this view when you go home...
Surely looks very peaceful, better then my birdies-shot on the beach yesterday :) Loving the large panorama-view!

You are fond of your city? Good, then Iīm glad I can perhaps expect some more views like this on your account. I spent last weekend some time in Rīdam (was a bit disappointed to see Erasmusbrug now is shining violet), but I didnīt take a single photo worth being published at TE.
Your panorama is a good job, but where do these white outlinings come from? When I look at the large version, every building has a white line surrounding it. Stitching from 4 images should produce a large file and great number of pixels, so that even a lot of editing isnīt harmful.

Hi Gilbert, I love the wide panaramic view, the photo is wonderfully composed & a great POV looking across the bay, beautiful sky with the sun just looking out from behind the building, superb light & well framed, kind regards Wilson.

a nice panoramic view for a nice sunset, with the sun just at the top of a building. The technical aspect (tripod, stitching) seems to be good to me. By the way, what does HDR mean ?
