Yet another sunset..but I adored the time watching it, now two days ago. This photo is captured some time later than yesterday's share. (Have a look and see how different it was!) It's thus taken on the first of february..what seems to be a good starting of the month here.
Most of the times february is about the coldest month in Holland..maybe this will be the case too now.
Although we are experiencing a quite warm winter!
Atleast the first two days of february have show nice weather, which doesn't happen a lot here, in the winter. I hope it will stay so..cause I love those evenings..like this one!
The sky was ever changing, I saw beautiful things. Yesterday I mentioned with that post, that I saw the sky turn red later, well here is the evidence!
So this is another impression of what happened here two days ago..some say..another sunset..fine by me, atleast I enjoyed it a lot!
I can't imagine people walking on the streets like cowards (looking to the ground)..not looking up..when such spectacle's show up!
Hope you enjoy the capture as I enjoyed the moment!
And hope I've learned you a bit about the weather in Holland..in time.

Beautiful colours. But compositionwise I think the previous post was much more successful. In my view this one lacks the depth which the other one had. the silhoutte on the right compensates somewhat but I do not really get the feeling looking down a street on this one. Just my view of course, and the colours are equally amazing.

When I see a dramatic sunset...I just can't resist studying it a bit more!
I must agree that the previous hot was slightly better when conserning DOV.
But I feel this one has a much more powerful use of colour, and the simple way it stretches over the sky really gives a great impression of this being some sort of inverted sea.

What impresses me most in your gallery is the virtual riot of colours. Whether its Greece or Holland, they are so vibrant. This one is no exception, amazing colours of the sky, well saturated. Nice silhouette at the bottom.

Bravo! for your play with the sky colours.
Evening skys usually produce excellent colour effects during rainy seasons.
May be due to the prismatic effect of the rain drops in the clouds changing the sunlight.

I like this colourfull sky. It looks psychedelic. It seems that the liberal dutch drug policy affects even the sky over the Netherlands :-)
By the way: What is with your exams? Are they over?

Wow what colors. That is one impressive sunset. The warm light on the clouds really makes the shot. Well done.

The purple/orange reflection on the clouds is worth the shot. The 'fierce yet gentle' tints of orange, purple and blue harmonized in colour makes a strong impact and you managed to keep its saturation very authentic. The 'solid' sillhoutte on the right seem too chunky though I try not to be visually distracted by this but again the strong colours and textures dominated by the sky is rewarding.
Nice capture Emiel!

What can I say? It's better to be silent listening to the sound of nature!

Hello. Although the scene in too dark in its part in the part of down, the importance that had at its moment the sky, was not to fail to take advantage of. The intense tones oranges in the firmament, astonish. Congratulations

A good POV of the sunset which is giving nice colors and a set of shadows to the photo. It has a good composition and DOF. Thanks for sharing.

I'm never tired to watch beautiful sunset and in here you've captured a fantastic one with bright colors...it looks like the sky is on fire and there is a good sense of depth.
The other post looks also great and gives a better idea of the place setting.
