Photographer’s Note
Amsterdam.
As I am living overseas, it's always good to go back and see Amsterdam. The longer you live overseas, the more it feels like being a tourist in my own country. This does have it's good sides too, you see details and things you otherwise always take for granted.
Little information about the canals:
Did you know that the city's water management flushes the canals twice per day with fresh water from the river.
Tech:
Little crop, brightened and saved for the web.

Nice shot Etienne, this seems to capture the canal side of Amsterdam perfectly. Interesting "did you know" fact in your notes too.

Hello Etienne,
Your scene is including one of clear and good view of typical Amsterdam corner. I like multi stories houses after the bridge and trees a lot. Blue sky and water canal is also so nice. Congratulations. I wish you a very good week.
Best Regards,

Bonjour Etienne,

Dag Etienne,
Nice typical view from Amsterdam's canals under a sunny day. Great pov, colors and details. The only typical thing that lacks is a bicycle, but maybe there's already one somewhere in the picture ;-)
Thanks for sharing,
Rafael

Dag Etienne,
John.

Hi Etienne. This looks like the Holland in all the travel brochures, tall thin houses, canals and bridges. Good composition and colour. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.
