Nice to see another good photo from you,before I start my travel in a few hours.
Good light and great depth.I looks like a big T,built by the canal and the trees at the horizon,and the grass in the sunlight contrasts well with the brown earth.

Interesting landscape without a clear focal point like a windmill, Jaap (the house is too small I'm afraid). But the perspective of the small canal, repeated and strenghtened by the lines of the grass and in the field, is so strong, that the eye is following it all the way down to the tree line at the horizon. Nice sidelight also.

Quel sacré ciel ! Enorme et nuageux, il laisse toutefois filtrer les rayons du soleil qui viennent écrairer ton tableau d'une jolie lumière tardive.
Très belle profondeur... du champ labouré ;o) et de ce canal d'irrigation.

Le reflet du ciel dans ce filet d'eau en perspective va rejoindre le ciel lui-même. La lumière rasante dessine les sillons et les bords de la tranchée. C'est superbe comme paysage. Du beau travail !

mooi licht/scahduw werk in de sloot en een prachtig perspectief en kleurpalet. De rij populieren en de dreigende lucht maken het wellicht nog hollandser dan de strakke lijnen.

Very good point of view here: the channel crossing the countryside provides a good depth thanks also to the array of trees at the horizon. The menacing sky in the upper part completes well the scene and adds interest to it.

Dit is werkelijk een perfect perspectief, de beek of gracht geeft zo een grote diepte die mooi afgesloten wordt door de dwarsrij bomen, de hemel met zijn wolken en het "carper formaat" zorgt voor een goede samenstelling, de zon en de schaduwen zorgen voor de kleuren, mooie recente foto!

Great shot, Jaap - now only do you get a whopping perspectiv effect from the way in which the leading lines of the field converge to the back, but you also have a sublime autumnal light situation going that brings a lot of atmosphere and character to this. Greetings from Japan.

Dag, Jaap. Hier volgen we de rechte lijn van de sloot tot aan de rij bomen die een duidelijke scheiding maakt tussen hemel en aarde. De vlakte is hier typisch Hollands, onder een hemel met mooie kleurschakeringen.

An excellent perspective here, the lines that escape up to this horizon with a barrier of trees have a great graphism and a lot of visual power. Certainly, the lighting with nice shades, the Dutch a bit threatening sky, the beautiful colors and the format Carper, like always, they are fantastic.

Hoi Jaap,
Ik heb net je hele gallerij Nederland (ja allemaal) doorgekeken maar deze vind ik toch het allermooiste. Zo leeg met rechte sloten en populieren langs de weg in de achtergrond. Zo simpel en toch zo moeilijk om dat goed tot uitdrukking te laten komen. Met het licht heb je zeker geluk in je meeste foto's (of je zoekt het op), maar de hollandse luchten (met het bijbehorende licht zijn naar mijn idee voor de meeste foto's van wezenlijk belang om een goed effect te krijgen. Ik ga het binnenkort zeker een keer proberen en misschien zie je binnenkort wel iets vergelijkbaars, maar in mijn eigen stijl en ideeën, hier op TE verschijnen.
