Photographer’s Note
This is the top of the light house of Hellevoetsluis.
It looks real Duth like the national flag, with the red white and blue.
Once it was a signal for the ships to know where they were and to find the harbour. In the top is a big light bulb and around it turns a screen around. This gives lightray's and every tower has its own "rogramm"so you know which tower it is in the dark.
Hellevoetsluis is an old Navy harbour at the sea arm Haringvliet in South Holland. The Haringvliet is now closed by gates of the Delta Works toi prevent overfloating of the land by heay storms.
