Photographer’s Note
I am finally getting back my slides for the TE meeting in Rotterdam... and now that everybody else from the meeting has posted his/her (nice) pictures, I find mine not so exciting... But I will post a few anyway, as souvenirs of a wonderful, friendly meeting.
This is the facade of a building in the old neighbourhood of Delfshaven. I was interested in the red/brownish bricks and the spot of colors brought by daily life objects.

Hi Sophie,
Don't be so modest. having gone through your images, I can say with some authority that your images are as good as any. And this one is no exception.

Sophie,

Hi Sophie, lovely upload from this "history" tour. You show a real cityscape of a part of the town that is very old, and very compact actually, small houses, and quite a few doors on one stairs, but all with a little balcony, it seems.
A good cluttered photo, and the touch of color is nice.
I understand that you have the feeling that you're behind. I have the same feeling, I have only posted one from Rotterdam so far. Too busy with the rest of the holidays.
It was a good wekend!

Hi Sophie, nice to see your first upload taken during the R'dam meeting. This looks like taken at the first spot where the guided tour started, and you framed/cropped this detail well with a good rhythmic aspect provided by the architectural elements, and a warming "lively" component given by the signs of life such as the flowers and the hanging laundry. I still have a few more to post from Rotterdam, too, so you're not alone :o)

Salut Sophie,

Hi Sophie
Great to see a shot from you as well - You spotted some very fine details at this image - I like the mix of wood and stone, very special and nice indeed.
Thanks for sharing this with us - looking forward to more shots.

Hi Sophie! I missed this one, great to see you posting from Rotterdam, your are kind of the dessert here so expectations are high :oD I think you managed to get a different view of Rotterdam very well, the tight crop is great and my eyes are constantly caught by the flowers in the orange pots, great splash of colour!
Cheers

Bonsoir Sophie,
