Bonjour Michael,
l'alignement de ces super grues les rend encore plus impressionnantes.
Une vue indistrielle bien réussie, abscence totale de 'nature'.
Excellent cadrage et POV.
Best regards.
Daniel.

Hi Michael - I like this strong compo in the port; they really look like giant metal creatures! Regards, Daniel

Excellent pov and dof to create a strong and graphic perspective ! The sharpness is perfect and the place becomes a "beautiful" one !

These type of cranes have always rmeinded me of women's high heeled shoes, and with your composition I can hear the clicky clacky noise high heels make as a woman is walking down the hallway.
The industruial feel of this photo is great and I like the rythm it brings with it. The blue container on the bottom helps to scale the monstrous size of these things.
Very bold composition.

Hi Michael
You did a good use of the zoom-lens - I got several shots of that crane-line while passing by - but not this close. I like the way the houses appears almost human. Thanks for this memory from a great weekend.
Good to meet you as well.

Guardians indeed, I hadn't thought of these cranes like this but your picture describe perfectly that feeling. Very good tight crop, not easy as the boat was going fast! The red color is very bright and I like the small red container at the foot of the cranes, and also the other cranes, a little faded, in the background. Well done!

Hi Michael
I remember these cranes, you could zoom perfectly in on them, well framed vertically and tight cropped to spot these eye-catching red cabines in a perspective row.
Colors are sparkeling !
I added the one color you missed.
Warm Greetings
Henk

Hi Michael. A nice frame to benefit from the graphical value of the aligned harbor cranes. This definitely had to come in vertical format like you are showing it here, and I think that the limited color palette of gray - red - yellow is of help to emphasize the "industrial" genre that this photo falls into. Well captured. Nice add with the WS photo, too :o)

Nice one Michael, I had exactly the same thought myself this morning. I like the way you've framed this one, usin gthe second row as a framing device.

Hi Michael,
Those structures would hardly look sexy, so I appreciate even more how your framing and angle create attractivity here, like Norbert I like too how the limited set of colors and their concentrations in restricted areas outline well some details of the structures, an excellent shot. I also like very much your nice collection of fellows in the WS, and as it seems to me we'll get the "shot shooter" version from Isabel some day...
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Hi Michael
All is perfect for me.
compo, colours, frame...
it is a very impressive vision the first cranes are very rigid whereas background one can see a little movement. with the result that the photograph is not too rigid.
congrats

Zeer fraai werk!
Goede week,
Bert

Hi Michael,
These cranes are very photogenic indeed. The beautiful rhythm, the beautiful red cabins, the great grey structures are all objects for many great compositions. Richard showed that too and maybe others will follow.

Wow Michael, pretty impressive this one, you made them look extra big somehow, whch might be because of the effect of the tele lens as well. This is a greta line up of those beautiful graphical cranes.

Hi Michael,
I'm impressed by the impact of the "guardians" shot from the side, that gives an interesting repetition and composition.
Excellent natural colours and thanks for the workshop photo - good to see members being together!

This is a great shot Michael, especially for those of us who are particularly fond of repetitive elements and industrial themes. You manage the geometry of the scene very well. The colors and details are nicely rendered. This is a fine contribution to the theme. That you caught this from a moving boat makes it even more impressive. Great work Michael.

There is pure industrial aesthetics here with a rhytmic parade of steel in grey tones and bright colours. The two slightly taller cranes gives a good variation adding music to the rhythm along with the theme of yellow below and red at the top.

Impressive Michael to have this top catch from the boat. The right focal width, effective . mostly graphical setting. Nice work

I missed this phto Michael and I regret it, so let´s change the situation. The title couldnt be more accurate, I would like to have the last gardian the "sargent" one in front of us more included but nothing serious. Its funny to find beauty from coldness metalic structures like this one. Take care.

Excellent composition. Intense and clear colors with fantastic focus. The POV used makes the cranes looks great.
