Hi Rinie. Nice first add from the meeting with this photo from the water taxi, showing the "convoy" of TE members on their way to the dinner. It came out very good with nice rhythmic background provided by the harbor cranes, and the huge amount of foreground is well chosen to convey the speed and agility of these boats. Lovely meeting you this weekend, and thanks for everything.

I am happy to find your pictures of this great dutch TE meeting. I thought to you this sunday, as I was busy in my village. I am interesting by your pic, so nice as everytime.

Thank you very much for the organisation of this meeting, Rinie! I spent a very nice day yesterday with all of you and the water taxi was certainly one of the moment where we had fun! I like the way you framed those 2 taxis (and I was in one of those). Goed gedaan en proficiat voor deze ontmoet!

Now that was really fun! It wasn't until Jeppe told us there was too many of us at the back that we reailsed why we going the slowest.

I like the glint of light on the one on the left.

Fantastische deze rit over het water Rinnie door de haven, het ging inderdaad snel, je haren in de wind, het overzicht van de haven heb je mooi meegenomen over het schuimend kolkend water, het was een echt fijne ontmoeting waar ik met volle teugen heb mogen van genieten,

Well I'm very glad to know that you are considering a meeting next year! (does Elaine know? :^). This one was a real success and I'm so glad I got to meet all the nice people that were there. Congratulations to the organising comitee!

I like the feeling of speed that comes from your picture, with the trace of your water taxi and the other following. I like also the crane in the background and the presence of the sailboat that looks pretty lost. The light is not the best but there's not much you can do about it (and hey, we had sun both days!), however I like the silhouette effect that comes with this "contre jour".

Eerst mijn dank voor jullie perfecte organisatie en aantrekkelijk programma. Deze supersnelle watertaxi's waren een van de vele hoogtepunten. Ik hoop daar later nog op terug te komen want ik hen daar mijn kortste sluitertijden ingezet.

hahaha! I like your papparazzi picture - it's so amusing and well shot!! This one looks almost like a scene from a Bond movie - the chase is on - international photographers of mystery! looks like an interesting industrial landscape - looking forward to meeting you this week - looks like I will spend Wednesday with you.

Yo Rinie, heerlijk actieshot zo, het geeft de dynamiek van ons weekednd prachtig weer. Het toned-down kleur palet past er geheel bij.

"Get yourself ready for next year"... May I conclude from this sentence that you will make this an annual event? I would welcome this very much and the watertaxi should definately be included in the program again! Thanks for organizing the TE-weekend, it was excellent.

Like Kevin writes: this looks like the scene of a Bond movie, very funny. And the typical setting of the port of Rotterdam is a great background. Nice action shot, Rinie.

P.S. I also added a watertaxi picture in the workshop area of Miguel's photo.

I have one that looks alot like this, probably because I was next to you taking it ;o) But compare to this mine really lacks details, so if any of you equipment freaks have a used digi. slr for sale, let me know :o)
You really caught the James Bond feeling here (or was it just me who felt like I was in one of Q's inventions?) and like Norbert said, perfect amount of foreground.

Again, it was GREAT meeting you after all these discussions and long emails.

The sentation speed and race is good, the Rotterdam skyline is not very "glamour" but it closes the compo well.

I just looked at all the pictures of the Meeting + the workshops of course and I'm feeling even more sad by having missed the event. I'm sure nobody could have organize that on a beter way as you did all three of you... Everybody is so enthousiastic about it, and you had a wonderful weather, especially on Saturday. And now I'm enjoying your photos and laughing at the funny ones too!!! ;o))) - Heeeee.... How come you hair looks that bright? Joking!!! ;o)

what i like the most in this horizontal composition is the whimsical small amount of colors and the way it's so well balanced, the cool triangle in the foreground.
