Two Little Sailors Photo

Photographer’s Note

I had a little extra time before I had to catch my train back to Germany, so I just hung out near the docks enjoying the warm sun for a while. Then I saw these two little boys playing near the water while their families were apparently partying on a nearby boat. These little guys looked like they were old pros at boating.

I gave this shot a little bit of help in color and softness using Nik Color Efex Pro, which I heard about from a forum post by "meagain." That program can really do a lot, but I tried not to overuse it on this one.

Very interesting motive. As it is with photos of the life itself, there is no time for special selection of all components and I think that this makes always such pictures more interesting - I think that I ran out points, sorry, wanted to give it 2 points.
