Photographer’s Note

There is a possibility to cool down on the northcoast of Curacao. Although there are no beaches and the sea is rough at the rocky coast, there are a few places where the sea comes above inland far from the shore.
There the sea has made caves and there is a blowhole where like in a Icelandic Geysir the water is pressed high up.
When it is hot, what it mostly is, it's a delight to sit overthere and let the shower of the sea cool you down.

Hi Guerrit,
I like your composition and enquadrement you did to this rocky coastline Geysir and persons. Possible a picture a little dark but the important here is your excelent capture of the water motion of the geysir that you handled so well. Good contrast and fine sharpness. I like the way your captured this natural shower. The rocky coast seems to be a nice place for enjoyment. The colors are good. I think if the shutter speed would be little higher say 1/600, then this would be more better.

Very nice natural swimming pool with the impressive wave splash producing this refreshing natural shower. The only difficulty I see is to reach this place with so many sharp rocks. Very well captured, good colors and lighting.

oh!! when i frist saw your picture with the name "netherlands" written, i was wondering where this could be!!! but then i saw it was "netherlands antilles"..i understand a bit more!!
