Photographer’s Note
At the edge of the village `S Heerenberg lies the impressive castle Huis Bergh.It´s one of the largest and most important castles of the Netherlands. The earliest building history goes back to the 11th century. During the times fires, wars extensions and restorations changed the character from Huis Bergh from a mediaeval defence citadel to an impressive castle.
I wasn´t shure about the title here,
any suggestions are welcome!

Bonjour Hermann,

John.

Guten Abend Hermann,
Beautiful light in this capture. Due to the angle, the contrast between the high resolution of these lovely old buildings and their surroundings and the motion blurred kid, this has a strong evocative and filmic character.
Very nice work!
Have a nice week,

Hi Hermann, I think the title fit the image well. A nice catch of the running character in this quiet peaceful setting. Nice capture of the colors and the lights in this clear and sharp image. Well done.

okee Hermann what about, mom, I'm home,
well even the runnaway kid I like the shot with the wintersun. you have bin in house Bergh, well i was yesterday in Doorn. In the house of the last German emperor Wilhelm 2. it was fantastic to see this import man in histories. To see how he was living there till 1941. i had a good impression of this last emperor. When you'r be interested you had to see it hermann. Okee even in het nederlands. Je vroeg naar mijn interesse in boten. Wel ik kom uit een schippers familie, dus is dat niet zo vreemd.

hi hermann,
this is a really interesting shot - looks like an english manor house photographed during a typical bad weather day, the only "flamish" indication is the blond hair of the runner;
an interesting work, i like it;

Very nice photo, Hermann - not your usual compo but I do enjoy the slightly eerie lightmood on the dignified surroundings, combined with the surprising element of the kid running towards the house. I think the title is fine - I was trying to think of song titles but off the top of my head I can't come up with much except "Silent Running" from Mike and the Mechanics, or "Our House" by Madness. I guess you should rather keep your title ;)

Hi Hermann
"Mum, Dad, guess what's happened ?"
Lovely clear light. I like this architecture and how everything seems so perfect. Amazing that there were still flowers on the bushes and people sitting outside in November. It must have been early in the month.

Hi Hermann
A superb decisive moment of the runner graphically illustrated against the darker bg. Good sharpness, colour, & lighting. Congratulations!

To me the title implies running back into history - with the excitement that children sometimes/often have for discovering the past - it's a delightful image - doesn't look like November weather - pleasant enough to sit outside - with coats on!
