Hello,

The artwork at the a12 (highway) near ede

Drivers whom concerning the motorway A12 (arnhem - The Hague) drive, see there the coming days off Ede a grasssign of 22 meters length growing. The immense grasssign is of the two art work which the maastrichtse artist Jan van Munster for the municipality Ede have made. Except the grasssign Van Munster also an art work of 54 lichtpalls, which the two new viaducts concerning A12 mark at Ede, devised. Gone of 3 meters high to 5 meters length and form this way together green lichtstring concerning the viaducts catch. The palls serve also as regular reduction along the way.


Bestuurders die over de snelweg A12 (Arnhem - Den Haag) rijden, zien daar de komende dagen ter hoogte van Ede een grasspriet van 22 meter lengte groeien. De immense grasspriet is een van de twee kunstwerken die de Maastrichtse kunstenaar Jan van Munster voor de gemeente Ede heeft gemaakt.
Behalve de grasspriet ontwierp Van Munster ook een kunstwerk van 54 lichtstokken, die de twee nieuwe viaducten over de A12 bij Ede markeren. De stokken verlopen van 3 meter hoog naar 5 meter lengte en vormen zo samen een groen lichtsnoer over de viaducten. De stokken dienen tevens als reguliere verlichting langs de weg.

Stunning colours and reflections and how the latter are blurry compared to the neat stars on the bridge. Very pleasing to the eye.
