Photographer’s Note
At the edge of the village `S Heerenberg lies the impressive castle Huis Bergh. It´s one of the largest and most important castles of the Netherlands. The earliest building history goes back to the 11th century. During the times fires, wars extensions and restorations changed the character from Huis Bergh from a mediaeval defence citadel to an impressive castle.

Hallo Hermann. A well framed detailed view of the palace, with a good division of the photo between the white gate and the high red-brick building with the wooden shutters. The high light contrasts are reasonably managed, and I also like the inclusion of the visitors, and the timing to have the guy just step out below the portal.

Mooi natuurlijke kleuren en een detail van dit kasteelhuis met de toegangspoort en de loopbrug perfect in beeld geplaatst, goed zo Hermann.

An interesting architectural shot from your love of castles Hermann - it really is a very interesting looking place - I'm fascinated by the way the brickwork mirors the leading of the windows..

Hello Hermann,
I like the informal mood you gave to this composition. The persons included make that sense stronger. Specially the one that is looking down, in what I think is a bridge.
Even though you don’t show us the hole place, there are a lot of beautiful details and colors. Those windows are very appealing. I also like the asymmetric point of view.
Well done,
Gabriel

Perfect work for this nice place. This is a framing to see exactly the beautiful "gate" and the situation of it in front of the facade.
Good colors and the details of the brick works and windows are excellent
I like it

Hi Hermann,
What is the man at the bridge looking at. The man entering the bridge is determinate to know and will soon know the secret. Thanks for this nice story.

Such sharp detail is shown on this image; we can see every brick. I like the way the man is emerging from the archway like a sentry from his box.

Hi Hermann,
A well composed shot which is rendered with superb clarity and good contrast. I like the interesting exterior of the castle wall and your POV as the people stride by. Good lines and graphics for the eye to follow. The entrance structure is well seen and its lighter colours provide a lightness to the scene that is complemented by the fall colours of the trees. Well captured.
