Photographer's Note
Another peek at the beautiful, romantic village I live in...
The weather was not very cooperative; it went from dark and rainy to very bright sunlight. the use of a filter would have been better, but I didn't have one with me..

Very pretty place, Femke. I particularly like the details of the #3 house on the left. The reflection on the tilted window of house #5 is a bit distracting, but your composition is right on here. Nice shot!

We were all jealous about the place you work, and now we are jealous about the place you live. Ah, you're lucky.
I made a WS, reducing the redish of the sky.
Out of points, I'll update tomorrow.

I like very much your photo with lines and tiles which compose roofs. To us, it is roofs of sheet steel or of shingles of asphalt that are popular. The whole image is very well realized.
J'aime beaucoup votre photo avec les lignes et les tuiles qui composent les toits. Chez nous, ce sont des toits de tôle ou de bardeaux d'asphalte qui sont populaires. L'ensemble de l'image est très bien réalisé.

The use of a skylight filter would have helped you out here. It reduces the glow in shadows. Also you could have used a gradual grey filter to reduce over-exposuring of the sky and to save details in the clouds. But don't worry about them, the result of your current capture is still something to be proud of. Especially the composition appeals to me. And ofcourse a nostalgic moment whilst looking at this beautiful dutch still :-) Thanks for the moment, and for sharing!

Sorrie Femke,
Dat ik deze over het hoofd zag.
Beautiful colours, great composition, good cropping. Wat kan ik meer zeggen, geweldig mooie lucht.
