A fine and different shots from the coasts of Holland - It not very often this part of your fine contry show on TE - I like the surfers view and the fisherboat as complement element in the composition - Thanks Rob for sharing.

And yes it seems we finally got the summer weather we missed some months ago :-)

These waves are very nicely shot.
The boat is a nice plus to the composition. Perhaps I would have preferred an horizontal framing however, since I do not thing that the sky brings a lot.

Hi Rob,
What a busy surfers' life in Scheveningen - I would never say!
Wonderful sky with fluffy clouds and sea full of frothy waves and surfers - the fishing boat is rarely seen in shots of surfers, though (but a nice surprise for this composition!).
I'm quite fascinated by the texture of the frame, but it just feels too 'metal' for this scene, IMHO.

Hi Rob, Good catch of the waves in this dynamic shot. Nice to have multiple surfers showing in this picture and to have a big boat in the background for extra decoration. A very well taken shot. Well done.

Hi Rob. Actually at first I thought this was our friend's Wes Wang's work. This is a pleasant surprise from you. I normally don't comment on frames but I must say I really like that crazy frame you came up with. The way the surfers turned into silhouettes is excellent. Nice one Rob!!

Je suggère un crop sur le ciel pour amener l'horizon sur le 1/3 supérieur.

Hi Rob,
An unusual post from you, but Excelent Seascape composition with the surfers and the boat. I only have Surfers but no Boat ;-))) I like the low angle approach and perspective. Fine enquadrement, good handling of light and a good capture of the surfers, sea water color and motion and also the moving boat. Good surprise and a picture to enrich your fine Portfolio.

Hoi Rob,
Het mooiste voor mij zijn de golven en het witte schuim waar ik als kind uren kon naar kijken, en daar een grote bewondering voor had. De samenstelling is absoluut goed, misschien alleen is er beetje crass in de hemel, een beetje weinig pixels misschien! Anders vind ik dit wel punten waard.

Halløjsa,
Zoals gezegd beter dan de originelen van een ander lid dezer webpagina. Leuk dat er verschillende soorten vervoer over zee, de surfplank en de boot, te zien zijn. Goed frame ook. :-)

Hoi Rob,
I like the atmosphere and the lightmood in this shot a lot.The pastel colors are also very nice,excellent compo and perspective but I´m not so shure about the frame.

I was a little surprised by the square frame (see the WS) but I like the opposition between the two worlds : fun vs work. So close, so different, at the same place, in the same environment.

Hi Rob,
You clearly take the prize on TE for coming up with the most unpredictable, incongruous and always enjoyable shots that most of us miss. Such a contrast here between the world of work with the fishboat and the world of play with the surfers! Its like California versus the Rhine! I love the dynamics here and the unusual colours and tints. The framing and cropping are also superb. Another excellent daily life shot, Rob, combined with Nature. Very satisfying.

Hi Rob, I really like the light in this one. And the zoom has managed to create some real action by bringing the surfers so close to the boat - and of course the waves so close together. I also find the framing quite original.

Nice photo. I like the fact that there are surfers and a big boat. The water is nice and the frame is very good for this photo. I like the sky, even though it is not blue.
