Photographer’s Note
There seems to be something about mills these days, so I couldn't resist adding yet another mill. I'm sorry to say that I'm not quite neutral here as this one is definitely Dutch, from the beautiful Texel island, hope I won't get flamed for that ;-)
Dedicated to the United Mills of the World !
Next please to add on the sunday fun...

Salut Jean Yves

Bon dimanche.

Yo, Jean-Yves, maybe you didn't want to take sides, but you just didn't have a Portuguese mill, for me that's obvious enough, welcome on the Dutch side, buddy!
Lovely and 'quiet' picture in a sort of 'serene' landscape, that probably is given in because it is SOOOO FLAT, it couldn't be flatter, I guess ;-)
To be honest, I like you phrase "United Mills of the World", 'cause deeep down, I'm a peace loving person, it's just that I do not want Jose to know yet ;-)
Enjoy your sunday!

Hi Jean Yves
I like the graphism of the mill, against the overcast sky. Good colour, sharpness, & depth.

Hi Jean,
I could not join the fray as we do not have mills here. Anyway, a very nice and peaceful scene and I like the split with the water in between. As usual great clarity and colours. Splendid! Regards.

Hello Jean Yves,

Hello, Jean Yves.
A well composed scene rendered in a pleasing format. The soft summer colours work very well here and I like your POV with a slight angle on the foreground grass. The windmill and sky are neatly proportioned in the shot for maximum impact. Well done.

Hi Jean-Yves. Yes who do you think you are, Jeppe? ;) For not doing this often you got some impressive results. I think I would do the cropping in more of landscape orientation though. Still a great shot Jean-Yves!

Hello JY, good to see you're on 'our' side, haha! Actually it's a pity that no Jose has not found any other Portuguese enforcement yet, but perhaps he is working in secret on an new plan...
This is a nice picture of a place that is not visited by many foreign tourists. Most foreigners stick to the Dutch mainland, but the little islands in the north are also worth visiting if you're looking for quiet areas with many seabirds. You've captured the quietness of the island of Texel very well in this picture. Perhaps you could crop a little on the top.

Salut Jean-Yves,
Bravo,
Jean-Luc

Great calm landscape Jean Yves. Does this mean you are taking sides with Rinnie in this mill war?

Bonjour Jean-Yves,

j'aime bien

Your choice of side will not be soon forgotten… And your excuse of only having Dutch mills photographed doesn’t convince me. You could always get a plane here and photograph some Portuguese mills… :-)
Oh the revenge over the French mills will be merciful once we solve our trouble with the Dutch!!!
The worst part it’s that you even present a nice sky and light. A thing that, not even the Dutch managed!!! Revolting… And again a nice canal too… At least there are no swans… :o))

Bonjour Jean Yves,
Yes, I know this mill on the beautiful island of Texel too. You placed it very well in the picture and I like the flat field around it as well, good work!

Hi Jean Yves.
Excellent compo with great depth and nice colors and lighting.
You can add as many mills you want! The Greek are the best! :)
