This mill is called "the Hercules", aka "the American mill". It's on the corner of my house, in Zaandam, near the Zaanse Schans (famous attraction".
This picture was one of the first made whit my dgital camera.
This is the second uplaod of it, now in a bigger format.

This is a nice shot with natural colour. The horizon is tilted which spoils it a bit.

An undutch windmill for sure, and that near the Zaanse Schans, it's like cursing in heaven ;-) Well taken anyhow, and it's a great outsider in the ranks of the "Typical Dutch" photo's. Your horizon is a little tilted. Easy to fix in Photoshop. Regards, Huub

Hi Hans,
Nice picture with natural colours and light. I can't imagine how that small building can lift this heavy "ring". I'm waiting for more of your photos from Turkey and of course from other places. Best wishes. Maki
