Photographer’s Note

And here another picture of my favorite windmill "de Hommel" located in the southern-most point of my hometown Haarlem.
I already have huge collection of this beautifull windmill that was used to pump the water in the ground back into the rivier, the people living here wouldn'd drown.

Tech: I added some contrast and darkened it a little.

Hi Frans, looking at your photo I can understand why this is your favorite windmill. This view increases its beauty thanks to the evening light, its silhouette and the reflection on the water of the sky and the windmill. It is a very good composition with a very good sharpness.
