Photographer’s Note
A detail of an old crane at one of the old harbours (de "Binnenhaven") of Rotterdam. The area around the Erasmusbridge: "The Head of South" it is called.
A beautiful place for taking pictures of architectural scenes; many different old and new bridges, buildings in many different styles.
Rotterdam centre was destroyed during WW2, so there is much new architectural to be seen.
The B&W was for me the beteer option, though the sky was nice in colour to.

Hi Albrecht, this is an exceptionally good B&W. The vertical frame suits so well the line of the crane and the graphism it creates. Your sky is wonderfully dramatic. Excellent composition, great work, Lisa.
