Photographer’s Note
Just a street in an old dutch city, Haarlem, the capitol of province Noord Holland.
In the end, you can see the St.Bavo-church and I experimented something on TL with this church, however two other members made a WS for me, see also Marie's (Neige) and Zandra's (zto)

Felicitaciones

Fantastic!!! I like this so much!!!
And do you know why I like it so much? This is the Frankestraat, the street I used to live in before I moved to Århus! Oh, I want to go home again.... Quite a coincidence to find it here.
The street is very old, from the 13th century, and old name was "Vrankenstreeg" (steeg =alley). It used to be a quite poor street, but that's a long long time ago...

Great picture! Nice view of a lovely street in my hometown, Haarlem! The St. Bavo really is a beautiful and old church.
Thank you for showing my own Haarlem here on TE!

With the Capitol and the beautiful houses's ranges, the POV is interesting, Hans. But I'm not sure with the underexposure in the street's area. Nevertheless, the shot is well-framed. I like the location of the Capitol in background and the sign in the right side into the foreground.

nice image of the path, shame it is very dark in the majority of areas, but you managed well. Good shot

Hi Hans, I like the view of this old street that reminds me of my trips to Holland, there is a nice pespective ans a nice curve, but to my eye, it's a bit dark and the house details don't appear very well, I try a WS

Super cropping! The narrow street gives way to a narrow photo. I love the leading lines and tones, too!

Tight cropping and use of the street ends in a fine overall compo. Interesting details, well done hans

Good compositional use of the softly bending street in the foreground to lead the attention towards the church tower. Very good job handling the exposure here, Hans, I've done an amount of these shots and constantly struggle to get it right. The old signs and lamps outside the charming buildings are delightful in their own right, and in terms of the framing I like how the rows of houses start in the upper corners of your photo. Very nice one.
