Industrial Reflection

I was standing at position 52° 28.314 - 4° 36.091

I made the picture with my camera facing South

The window and the ladder are from a pumping station
The reflection is of the Corus- steel factory (former Hoogovens). In normal situations some white and grey smoke should have been visible from the blast furnaces, but due to the economic crisis the factory isn’t working fulltime.

Excellent work on those reflections, with strong colors and hallucinating reflections. Very psychedelic result but not completely abstract with the ladder and the silhouette. Bravo!

Fantastic reflection of the steel work. Since I am familiar what steel work looks like. I find this beautiful presentation of of it very interesting. I could not imagine that a steel work could be such an explosion of colours. TFS and have fine weekend!

Hi Rob,
I guess that if you the POV was turned 180 degrees the view would be on the depressive side, specially in the times when the factory was fully working. But here I see only beauty, it's a wonderful abstract compo, that reminisces colourful boats reflected in slowly undulating water.
