Taken from the top of the new part of the Anne Frank House (Prinsengracht 267).

Vanaf je werkplek dus, niet slecht dit uitzicht, beter als vanwaar ik werk.

you got a splendid light here! The light Holland is famous for.
And I like very much this POV with shows us both the canal with the boat below and the roofs and the distant chimnes. also the trees make the composition lively and really smart.

Spectacular, Gerrit. I wonder if it's the view of your new office... ;-) It's not so usual to have such vantage sight over the roofs of amsterdam. Splendid colors, wonderful combination with trees, pretty facades, boat in the cannal and chimneys working in the horizon.

Hi Gerrit. Very nice lighting in this one, resulting in a warm and vivid rendition of the colors on the typical Amsterdam scenery. The aerial POV is very good and allows you to present a different angle than the usual street-level ones. Good details, well captured.

a nice birds perspective of this wonderful city of Amsterdam. Did you get up onto the roof? I remember once I stayed in this city getting up to the roof of my guests apartment. We were able to walk quite a distance over the roof what was a real fun. I like that chimney at the very end. It provides a good sense of depth to the image.
