I love this photo — with impeccable composition, and flawless lighting. The sunlight reflected in the windows, and in turn on the frozen river, with the skaters frolicking on ice. Well done!

Very nice. This golden light and beautiful tones are great. Could be one of those nostalgic New Years greeting cards, so rich in feeling and mood. The central part washed out by harsh lighting could be recovered a bit by slightly partially burning only the midtones. Anyway, a good one!

The light makes this special & yes the view you show us. I don't remember seeing any pictures of the frozen canals & add to that skaters on them! The highlight has to be the golden light reflecting in the window glasses & then on the ice. Good work!

the idea of this photo is very good and the colors give a winter atmosphere but I'm seeing some errors:
1 - straighten the image, the building seems falling out.
2 - the light reflex in the objective is an error and disturbing the picture.
but I like and I give you two points.

The light makes this look almost medieval and the mist gives atmosphere (or is it condensation on the lens? - works either way).

A splendid atmosphere very reminiscent of an Old Master Painting. Great perspective along these lovely façades lit up by this most beautiful evening light. The light reflected across the frozen canal with the silhouetted skaters is wonderful. Fine image.

Hello Sau! I saw this one while working and I thought I wanted to be there right now and try the icy pleasure myself and do some rounds. What a great golden light on the house and how it comes down to the ice just on some parts, the rest stays in the shadow. Fantastic shot! Ice on the canals we see that not much often recently. Moreover, I appreciate the soft backlight with the reflections on the buildings and the ice. Perfect composition. This scene could be subject of one of our master painters!

Hi Sau. This is an image of Amsterdam I haven't in my mind. It's a nice postcard and the light is really good but I don't understand very mucho the cloud in the middle of the photo.
