First, second and this is my third and last one from May 14th 2007.
The sky above downtown Rotterdam was lit by 128 lights divided over a path of 11,5km which marked the area that was bombed. That day, 67 years ago, the Luftwaffe leveled some 2.6 square km's of the city's centre to make the Dutch surrender to the Nazi's... they did.
Rotterdam used these 67 years to rebuild the centre with modern architecture and is 2007 City of Architecture.

I'm very surprised by the rays of light in the sky, that seem irreal. Fisheye curve the cost, I've try to use dxo optic or photoshop to solve it?

Gilbert hi,what an amazing scene! All three uploads of the same suvject are really great, but what attracted me most are the rays of light looking like anti-aircraft fire, just how it should look back then..Excellent fish-eye use!

Well done! Glad you use a tripod. Good use of fisheye lens and slow shutter speed. What I like about this image over the other two is the composition. The emphasis is on the sky, while the land and water establish a base. Nothing interferes with the main subject. The composition in the other two shots needs some more careful framing.

Quite an amazing capture, Gilbert!
The tracing lights are very clear to see and the sky makes one feel quite small!
