Memory captured beautifully, emotionally and imaginatively.. Your way of framing and the lens is good...
Congrats, and wishes from India.

When I saw your picture, I first thought of an aurora borealis which amazed me much as you took this shot in the Netherlands. I must say the photo is impressive, you chose a very wide focal lens which gives depth to your picture. Well seen.

Very interesting photo Gilbert. I really like the way the fisheye lens captures the entire sky and warps the horizon. Exposure is perfect. Well done.

A wonderful and dramatic image ,Gilbert, and a good note. I think it was the British that bombed Rotterdam, which is an irony of course. Great picture. Regards kevin

Zat al met smart te wachten tot de eerste fotos hiervan op TE zouden komen. Moet vast een indrukwekkend gezicht zijn geweest, vooral door de bewolking.

Amazing shot. Beautiful use of the 16mm lens. This is a very moving commemoration. Your capture of it is sweeping and dramatic.

This is a great image of the night sky with these lights reflected off the clouds. I like the effect your fish-eye has created...gives the image an artistic feel for this commemoration. Your exposure and lighting is perfect.Well done.
