Duivenvoorde: the park Photo

Photographer’s Note

Another shot from Duivenvoorde castle park in Voorschoten, Netherlands. This time, I was standing on the small bridge near the castle, seen on my previous post, and was shooting across the same pond, but in the opposite direction. The small houses belong to the castle and probably were built for the gardeners. The photo is also a colourful reminder of how the trees looked like only two weeks ago; now they are almost bare...

Lovely reflections in this shot: the still water of the pond works like a mirror in this case. The mix of colours offered by the trees completes an interesting composition.

Een mooie verzadigde foto met hoog contrast, schitterend. Reflectie in dat diep blauwe water met die herfstkleuren van de bomen en die zachte blauwe lucht er boven dioet het helemaal in deze foto...prima werk.

Probably with these cottages it is so as you write. They could belong to the service interesting themselves with the park. You were lucky that it had succeeded to photograph You trees still with leaves in the Crowns. Thanks to this you showed the charm of this place. The tile of the water additionally brings to life the picture, and reflections on her surface are superb. The picture as always very well-made.

Another lovely image of this beautiful park.The trees here in the depth of autumn and as you said winter only round the corner.Nice autumn colours and light.The reflection on the still water very refreshing.Sky a bit overexposed but not so as to really spoil.I like the splash of light on the trees....well captured.Take care and TFS.

Bonjour Alexander,
La saison automnale rend la nature très belle avec cette symphonie de couleurs. Malheureusement, tout cela ne dure qu'un instant. Il faut savoir saisir ce moment de beauté à point nommé. La composition est très réussie et bénéficie dans son ensemble d'un charme certain.

Hallo Alexander,

Ik heb een dubbel gevoel, wij hebben eerst de andere gezien met een zeer mooie hemel, en minder details als deze, hier zien wij dan veel meer maar de hemel heeft wat pech, maar algemeen zijn beide foto's zeer goed, het is een mooie omgeving om te fotograferen, en als de fotograaf dit doet zoals u dan is alles perfect! Goed werk Aleks!

Aleksander, une grande quiétude se dégage de cette photo. L'eau est un miroir pour ces arbres d'automne et pour un ciel si bleu si calme.
