Photographer’s Note

Duivenvoorde Castel originates from a 13th century-moated tower. Its present style dates from major restoration works in 1631 and 1717. In 1830 the castle was restored and adapted to the conditions of that era. The manor always remained in the same family and was never sold.

A traditional frontal and central view well suited to highlight the csymmetrey of this building. Fine clear colours and splendid framing by the trees and the water.

This is a nice shot of this fine architecture. The angled lighting works well here adding depth to the scene. The trees are used well in the framing of the building. The reflection is nice and adds depth to the shot.
