Photographer’s Note

For many years at Scheveningen was a contest of Sandsculptures. Usualy about 10 different sculptures were build by different international teams. This year the concept was changed and they build only ONE castle but much bigger. This photo shows a bit of the castle of this year. The construction is about 4 or 5 meters high. Realy impressive. At the WS you can see the all construction

Hi kik, this stands massive and tall like a grand sentinel thats been there for ages! I like the archietcture and I like the art here and specially the way you have compsoed it.

Hello Kikks, in the thumbnail and even in the larger version it looks like a real one with the blue sky at the background. In the Algarve region of Portugal there's such a sandsculpure activity every year. In the Netherlands the weather could be rainy even in the summer. I hope those castles last long:)
