Photographer's Note
The bridge on this pic is Ben van Berkel’s Erasmus-bridge in Rotterdam, AKA “The Swan”, as seen from the northern embankment while in the “Prachtig’ restaurant (highly recommended!). While dining out yesterday night I looked at this marvellous vista with the interior lights of the restaurant blended in by the large panorama windows and couldn’t resist taking this picture. The building on the right is Renzo Piano’s KPN Telecom Office. The sloping façade of this office tower is fitted with many green lights which together form a mega-display on which graphics are displayed. A part of this light-array is visible in this picture. The Swan is so famous that architect Ben van Berkel wants to copyright the image of the bridge – so whenever the bridge is featured in commercial printed matter (logos, corporate brochures etc) a copyright fee will be due.
There’s a slight motion blur because of the long exposure time and not using a tripod.
PS-E2 tech: rotated, cropped, levels, saturated (master and reds and blues), sharpened (the whole pic and parts of it with the sharpen brush) and saved for the web.

The idea was lovely and the use of tripod would take originality and espontaneous of the picture! Well done, no preparation at all, just aiming to something you enjoy seeing!
