Photographer’s Note

Erasmusbrug, Rotterdam.
oggi il mio lavoro mi ha portato da un cliente interessante, il Museo Olandese della Fotografia a Rotterdam. il museo si trova vicino al fiume Maas e al ponte di Erasmo (detto anche "il cigno"), opera dell'architetto Ben van Berkel e inaugurato nel 1996.
fortunatamente per me era una splendida giornata estiva - e non avendo il polarizzatore ho rimediato sottoesponendo di uno stop... quasi lo stesso effetto =)

today I had to visit an interesting customer - the Nederlands Fotomuseum in Rotterdam. the museum is located close to the river Maas and to the Erasmus bridge that spans over it. the bridge (also called "the swan") is a project by Dutch architect Ben van Berkel and was completed in 1996.
it was a beautiful summer day - however, since I didn't have a polarizer with me I had to remedy by underexposing one f-stop... it's not the same effect, but it's close enough for me =)

ciao cri,

tu odi il termine "grafismo"...eppure ci marci molto con questi esercizi di stile.
vabbé...il risultato é buono e quindi va bene così

bell'effetto grafico ed eccellente contrasto cromatico tra il bianco del ponte e il blu del cielo che fa da ottimo sfondo.

Ci hai anche beccato un aereo al transito.

Ciao cara Cris,
come promesso eccomi qua, a commentare questo bel cielo azzurro sul quale un buon architetto ci ha disegnato questa enorme arpa. Ottima immagine grafica con uno sharpness da sballo, che ti ha permesso di catturare anche quel minuscolo puntino volante a migliaia di metri di distanza. Anche io sottoespongo sempre di uno stop, anche con il polarizzatore, una volta regolate le luci in PS i colori rimangono più saturi e piacevoli, specialmente con i cieli. Brava!

Good morning Cristina!

Oh, that's so strange!
The shot has a strong graphic impact, thanks to your minimalist mise-en-scene, with a duo of bright colors and a dynamic as meticulous framework. But what really moves me here, (and I realise at this point, that, if not that, I would probably never have had such an idea) is the detail of the plane with the tiny trail behind. It makes as a sewing thread about to enter in the hole in needle! Where there are severals, already! Really strange and good timing, just before the "blow".

bellissima questa !!! bello il contrasto tra il bianco e l'azzurro, saranno contenti i laziali.... io per ovviare al polarizzatore misuro l'esposizione sul bianco quando mi trovo in queste situazioni e il cielo diventa ancora piu' azzuro che con il polarizatore.

l'intuizione grafica mi piace molto e ti è anche venuta bene, qualitativamente parlando, anche se, in giallorosso sarebbe avrebbe avuto un fascino diverso.
Provo a fare un WS, per rendere l'idea (naturalmente lo faccio solo per spirito campanilistico...)

un dettaglio architettonico e ssenziale e molto bello, mi ricorda le viste dei ponti di Calatrava, che preferisce architetture più curve. Il bianco sposa bene il cielo blu.
