The Intercity (Hispeed) train from Amsterdam to Brussels stops at the main cities in the Netherlands, such as Rotterdam Centraal (this picture) and Dordrecht (my destination).
The NS (Nederlandse Spoorwegen, Dutch Railways) may not be in high esteem among Dutch persons (people always complain...), but I found its services quite reliable and a very good way to travel in this country. You may also travel abroad, for example from Amsterdam to Brussels in less that 3 hours, or to Paris in a little over 4 hours, or to London in less than 5 hours. Since the trains go from city centre to city centre, they are often more convenient and faster than air travel.
You may have a look at the useful NS website (in English and Dutch) and don't forget to take advantage of the discount tickets and passes.

Wow, you navigated the challenging world of light and shadow, and you pulled it off. Thanks, Judy

Interessante tomada, amigo Francisco!

Ola Francisco,
Once again, great note!! I agree with you about Europe's trains - they are fabulous!!
Great framing with the FG watcher looking at the perfectly framed station platform. You did as nice job of maintaining detail inside the train - not easy!!

Oi Francisco,

I'm realy glad you had a good experience with the trains at the Netherlands. I must tell you it is luck. Every week at the Netherlands we such big problems with the trains that people have to wait for ours and ours to get out of station. Usualy the problem is a defect train or the weather. But the train stays a good alternative for the KM of traffic. I guess this is the price we have to pay for leaving in such a crouwed country. But i agree with you that the trains are very confortable.
Best regdrs

ola francisco,
quite an interesting one, here...
strong colours combined with nice settings and a deep DOF created an interesting bundle...
the man's stare at the platform reinforces the viewer to follow his sight...
best, j.
