Photographer’s Note

On January 2008, I spent several days in the polders of Holland.
Don't forget French people, who usually mention Holland instead of Netherlands when they want to speak about the country, make a big mistake.
South and North Holland are two regions of a country composed with several more regions, all really differents by their landscapes, architecture, religion, habits, dialect and sometimes langages.

Thats fresh and very sunny indeed. I love the colours and the crisp air which almost seems to be blowing out of the monitor! Very vivid and well balanced

Hello Aline.
I think you have another new camera!
It takes remarkably sharp pictures if this is typical of its output. The colour and bright light are superb. A delightful scene with this neat little house amongst the trees. The water is well captured, showing the tiny ripples so clearly. An excellent shot on a sunny winter's day.

Un endroit qui semble bien paisible. j'aime cette petite maison, ces arbres et cette pièce d'eau.
