Photographer’s Note
A misty afternoon. In that same piece of land as my previous post there were some more ugly trees. Standing there like ghosts in a misty landscape. No wind and very high humidity give also sharp reflections. There will be more of a misty serie. I experienced a whole new feeling. The weather does not have always be bright to make some pretty pics.

I once heard someone say "if you take pictures on a dull, grey day, you will get dull, grey pictures". Well, I guess there are exceptions to every rule, and this is it!...because it is the dull, grey conditions that make this photo special. The mood is wonderful, as is the composition, the reflections and the execution. Very well done. Best wishes, Vicky

Nice atmosphere you have captured here Erik. Good POV and exposure. You are so right about the weather not having to be bright to capture 'pretty pics'. Bright light washes out so much of the colour. It is the nature of the light that is important, and I usually find my best shots are usually in early morning, late afternoon, mist or rain - rarely in the middle of the day. I love soft light like this. Cheers . . . David

Hi Erik
I agree with Vicky and banyanman !
The great feature here is the atmosphere.
You got it very well and the fog is fantastic to compose it.
Good work.

Hi Erik,
Your right, I love those misty foggy photograph. It reminds me of time in my life 20 years ago. The tones and the colors are great and the composition is perfect. You did very well with the reflection. Well done.

Great silver colour here mixed with a great fog to give some atmosphere. The reflection also is a great addition.

Dark and moody with a great composition (and tack sharp as well on the bits that aren't fog.) Excellent job!

I immediately had to add it to my favourites!
