Holland - Europe's flower garden
From early spring bloom the first plant bulbs, crocus, daffodils, hyacinths and of course tulips. For lovers of flora worth seeing is the Keukenhof - the largest collection of gardens with flower bulbs in the world, among others 6 million. tulips. Keukenhof located near the town of Lisse is open to tourists two spring months (when the tulips bloom) 25 April - 19 May.
Well worth a visit are the two largest flower auctions in Holland to underline how this tiny country supplies the world with flowers, 75% of the flowers from the auction goes to export.

I really like the effect of the macro lens used outdoors and the associated shallow depth of field. the greens and yellows also create very pleasing patterns. I do find the heavy black semi-border rather disconcertting however. But for the photograph itself, top marks!

I cannot understand why such picture is so less frequented and commented on! Its a shame really
I find this quite amazing a picture with the focus, sharp in the middle and bokeh in the FG and also in the BG. You used this 'idea' well with this perspective shot!
