Holland - Europe's flower garden

From early spring bloom the first plant bulbs, crocus, daffodils, hyacinths and of course tulips. For lovers of flora worth seeing is the Keukenhof - the largest collection of gardens with flower bulbs in the world, among others 6 million. tulips. Keukenhof located near the town of Lisse is open to tourists two spring months (when the tulips bloom) 25 April - 19 May.


Well worth a visit are the two largest flower auctions in Holland to underline how this tiny country supplies the world with flowers, 75% of the flowers from the auction goes to export.
