Photographer’s Note
A couple of days after I bought my Canon Pro1 camera, we went out on the beach near Hoek van Holland to take some first shots. The strong winds of that Autumn day cleared up the skies, just as the sun was about to set. When I saw this point-and-shoot picture on my computer screen, I was very surprised with the image quality. I think the composition comes out just fine and the colour setting gives that near-to-night feeling.

Hi and welcome Marc,
Great openning shot! Your composition is spot on, and the sky is full of great details.
Your horizon is slightly off and your see is underexposed, but you would have need to use a grad filter, or take two shots and merge them to overcome this.
Great start though - keep them coming!
