Photographer's Note
The artworld is also feeling the result of the western economic crisis. About a month ago there was a festival at the city of Den Haag to get attention to this problem. This woodconstruction is build with materials from theaters that are bankrupt.

Excellent sharpness and clarity to the photograph. Te colour of the wood is bright and the shades - attractive. The blue facade of the building gives a sharp contrast. Didnt particularly like the framing - though I can perhaps understand the reasoning behind it.
The note is interesting. Well documented.
Thanks for sharing.

Hello Kik,
brilliant shot and interesting note depicting us the other side of the economic crisis. The scene is excellently composed and framed.Strong contrast and vivid colors only intensify the graphical effect of the composition.

hi Kik
a very interesting read.
guess its not funny, but in a weird way its funny that all these pieces of wood are from bankrupt companies!
Love the way you composed the photo, using the blue bg as a strong complimentary contrasting subject.
without that blue, alot would be lost in the visual interest.
superb set up with a unique subject.
cheers

Hello Kiks
Nice contrasts in colours and shapes achieved by this POV. I like it. In the UK the arts are in crisis even when there is no economic crisis - the government don't deem it worthy of any funding. Sad but true.

Hello,
I really like this. It looks intersting as a thumbnail and doesn't disappoint once clicked. I like the way you have picked up on the blue and extended it with your frame. A strong blue that is a good bg for the artwork.I like the contrast between the building and sculpture and the similarities too (both have rectangular shapes).Very well exposed with good sharpness.Interesting note.

Hi friends,
though after having read your note we have an a bit sad sensation because of the origin of the material used for this unusual urban sculpture, from bankrupt theatres, the composition created here offers us a great graphical power and a great chromatic contrast.
The image and the light have a high quality, this one is a good work.
Best regards,
Josep

Ciao Kik,
La costruzione in legno é una trovata molto originale e particolarmente interessante, ma ciò che mi piace molto é il modo in cui l'hai contrapposta alla facciata blu, l'effetto é molto accattivante ed attraente. Superbravo.
Un caro saluto

Hi Kiks
Thanks to the infor notes else it's hard to relate how these two can merge together in a frame and I love this innovative ideas making use of the available material to create something to draw the eyes in. The discarded pallets are fit for firewood indeed, instead they have been transformed into this and credit to those behind the ideas. And your shot is timely, emphisizing great detail on the wood texture even the grains are pretty visible. The lay out is just nice almost equal 50 -50, the contrasting colors is simply superb. Photo opportunity so well grabbed, and nicely done. Congrats.
Kind regards

Olá Kik,
The description of your photo is sad. But the reality is this wild capitalism that has an incredible power.
Good work to capture this image. Very good colour, contrast and definition.

Hi Kik
Wow, what an impressive demonstration of how the global financial crisis is affecting us all, especially those in small businesses. It seems now that independent, boutique businesses are being steadily swallowed up by the huge conglomerates. I like the textures here, and the tight framing works well to emphasise this. Beautiful strong colours too.
Thanks for sharing
