Around the old church there is a canal on one side and a little square on the other. Even the streetlights are oldfashioned here.
There is a pottery in the old white house that is called: de Witte Ezel.

Beautiful close up Gerrit, the image is well framed from the trees and have nice details, the old woman is nice and she is the core of the image, compliments.

Mooi Gerrit, vooral met de oude dame die komt aanlopen, heel mooi opgezet tussen die beide bomen naar achteren toe.
Wordt het misschien eens tijd voor een spiegelreflex?

het kanaaltje langs de kerk mooi geframed maar deze heeft net iets meer verhaal en kwaliteit in huis, langs de kerk tussen de bomen door over de fietsenstalling heen deze dame op leeftijd met harr wandelstok, met een backdrop op de typische geveltjes en de lantaarn, mooi bijeengebachte details, net alsof we het zelf zien, perfect van kleur en contrast, mooi zo Gerrit.

Very well composed image between the two trees. The inclusion of part of the bikes was a good idea too. Good timing as the lady lifts one leg.

Behalve de fietsen is letterlijk alles oud op deze prachtige foto,mooi dat je altijd wandelaars of passanten meeneemt in je compo,s.

Like this street view through the trees. The lamp post, tiled roof,grilled windows,texture of the bricks of the wall,flowers at the bottom of the windows,are very well composed. The lone lady is very carefully seen. Cycles slightly distracting the lady,s movement . Great shot .TFS

Gerrit, tu as su saisir l'ambiance de cette place restaurée à l'ancienne avec le lampadaire et les vieilles maisons. La boutique renvoie à l'époque qui ne connaissait pas les grandes surfaces sans âme.

It's not nice to call a donkey to the old lady, that's what I first thought, Gerrit :) Actually she's very important here for the human atmosphere, since this is so empty. The framing is very good, using the bikes, the two trunks and the leaves on top. Excellent shot.

It's strange how we are attracted by okd things and old persons while we are insearch of some good photos at the streets! I like a lot this one with so many typical Dutch things as the bikes and the buildings with these typical facades, even more I like itas you captured this old lady in 'full' activity which fits so well in the scene.
It's a very pleasant shot, with nice details and a nice composition.
