Photographer’s Note
View of Middelburg Town Hall and surrounding houses.
Photo taken at 11:39 from 90 meters tall Lange Jan tower some 280 meters away. Unfortunately Lange Jan tower is not the best place for taking photos. All windows on the top were closed, glass is quite dirty with lots of fingermarks from other visitors.
Camera settings: AV mode, ISO-200, 55 mm zoom.
The same Raw image was converted twice with different settings - one conversion was to properly expose everything on the ground, another to darken cloudy sky.
Later both images were merged into one by editing layer masks in Photoshop.

Hello Linas!
What a beautiful picture!
Sharpness, exposure, depth of field and natural colors are alle excellent!
However, imho, the privileged high pov and the superb composition are the real highlights in this quite attractive picture! I love seeing all those architectural details on rooftops, façades and towers!
TFS - congratulations!
Best regards and greetings from Brazil,

A great, well composed and sharp photo Linas - it doesn't suffer from being taken through a window at all.
I would have guessed that it was a church bell tower, not a town hall.

Labas rytas Linas,
Three-dimensional impression of buildings is indeed splendid. The shadow of clouds in the background makes the town hall stand out beautifully.
Regards, Hisashi
