Photographer's Note

This boat is leaving the harbour of Yerseke on the incoming tide. The water is still low in the channel and th boat has to hug the boys to stay in deep water. The village of Yerseke belongs to the miunicipality of Reimerswaal on Zuid-Beveland. It is mamos for its oysters and mussles. It is situated on an arm of the Schelde, known as the Oosterschelde. The land that can be seen on the horizon is the former island of Tholen.
