A picture taken yesterday of a flower on a field in Netherlands.
I know the name of the plant not, I see two year in Netherlands this plant, II have no farmer seen for explanation.

Who help can me?

Congratulations on your new lens John. I have no doubt that you will make as good use of it as you have of your trusted 18-55 kit lens. This image demonstrates the sharpness of this macro lens, as well as the creamy background created with the narrow depth of field you've chosen. Well done John. Although I haven't spent much time with macro photography, the results can be quite spectacular. I'll look forward to seeing what you do with this lens.

Splendid macro flower composition with a bee touching the petals. Fine violet colors with the contrasting yeallow-grren background in blur. Very well captured and composed.

Hi John,
A very delicate and beautiful macro shot. The DOF is superb and I find the repeat of purple in the background in great harmony with the subject.The presence of the bee is proof of the beauty of the colours besides its sweet nectar. An elegant shot!! Best regards.

Hi John,
A nice marcro shot here John. The petals of the flower are very sharp and clear and so is the bee. The colours are splendid. I love the way the background is blurred with the flower sharply against it

Dag John, ik denk dat ik zoiets in onze streek ook al heb gezien. Voor zover ik weet is het een plant die ze gebruiken als alternatieve bemesting. Ipv de grond te laten braak liggen voor een jaar, zetten ze er dit op; blijkbaar neemt het bepaalde stoffen op en andere weer niet waardoor de grond vruchtbaarder is. Ik ben niet zeker of het hetzelfde is, maar het lijkt er toch goed op.
In ieder geval, heel goed geslaagde macro. Mooie kleuren, goede focus op de plant en een blurry achtergrond. Uitgevoerd volgens de regels van de kunst: heel goed!

Iets waar ik wat van af weet. Tenminste dat denk ik wel. Hij is mooi John, goed genomen compositie, prachtige kleuren en een goede pov en een uitstekende dof. ik had hier alleen nog wel een ruisfilter gebruikt zoals neat image. had hem nog beter gemaakt, denk ik. Goed werk.

Goede morgen John, mooie makro waarbij het focus al over de bloem wegloopt, waardoor er een fijne diepte te zien is. Het primaire kleurcontrast is fraai waarbij de kleur paars ook nog eventjes in de achtergrond terugkomt. De symmetrische plaatsing van de bloem wordt mooi gecompenseerd door het bloementje op de voorgrond. Heel goed werk John dat ik na mij bezoek aan de Veluwe extra kan waarderen!

Hi John, prachtige zonnige macro, een gewelig mooie DoF op deze manier. Je compositie is aantrekkelijk met dat bloemetje rechts beneden aan.
gefeliciteerd met je nieuwe lens, John!
Over het bloemetje, ik dacht eerst dat het bernagie was, de groei lijkt er wel een beetje op, maar het is het niet. Misschien moet je bij je lens een goeie Flora aanscahffen, John ;-))

tu ne nous fais pas souvent des macros, mais quand tu en réalises une, on peut dire qu'elle frise l'exceptionnel, couleurs, lumières, DOF, tout est parfait.
Je ne puis t'aider malheureusement, je ne suis pas botaniste du tout.
