Photographer's Note
On the border Belgium/ province Zeeland I took a photo of
the creek Grote Kil (map) with my cousin Robbin.
He took a 18x zoom-in with his Fuji 2500HD (workshop)
It was one of the most interesting photos that day.
Two foxes on a frozen creek is uncommon.
Nowadays he has a Nikon D5100 kit and a 50mm primelens
and I'm very impressed, especially the low light/
high iso performance.
But with these lenses that photo had not been possible.
Superzoom with a DSLR is possible but very unhandy :
Fuji versus Telelens

Good day Hans,
Besides the super beautiful two photos, I red your note and saw the attachment with the comparison video. Totally agreed about the burden carry a big-lense DSLR, myself have a 374 grams camera and happy with the light-weight I carry. But there are advantages and disadvantages always, for diff. purposes in photography. Sometime I yield to have a long-range DSLR, when I see a unique object on far - but yet, happy with my FZ35.
The two foxes are outstanding catch in the WS.
Have a nice weekend,
Ike
