Photographer's Note

Just outside the village of Cadzand stands the mill "nooit gedacht" or translated that is: "never imagined". This mill was built in 1898 on the spot where before a wooden mill, named "de Kat" (or: "the cat") stood. Mill "de Kat" burnt down just before but this mill also had its share because in 1974 a fire also almost destroyed this specimen. Luckily it was rebuilt for us to enjoy.
The tractor on the right is pulling what we call a "pick-up" that is used to press straw into blocks. We don't see that so often anymore in our area because now it is mostly big machines that press straw into big rolls that we see.
The pov is in my opinion not ideal and neither was the wheather but both were out of my control.
I hope you like it anyway.
