Photographer’s Note
Not a breathtaking picture, this one is for "learning", as TE suggests.
In front of the train station, I've noticed this strange artwork. I did not care much about it at first, but then I realized: it is a Sun Clock! The display atop (red digits) signs the conventional time (gmt + 2, one hour more than Greenwich, plus one hour of daylight savings). And the yellow digits show the real Sun Time, which changes for every location even in the same Time Zone.
The whole arrow rotates with two degrees of fredom, one to allow the daily motion of the Sun, the other for the year changes.
As a workshop you can see the explaination table at the base of the clock.

Hi Marko! One thing I'm wondering about is how the sun clock was discovered? The red color of the building made this photo livelier, and your notes gave us a clear explanation of your purpose. Good catch! rgds.

Fascinating photo of the sun clock; this is a wonderful modern take on an ancient technology. The station building in the background is also an interesting subject in its own right.

Hai ragione, è proprio una foto interessante ed istruttiva!
Ed anche un poco fantascientifica.
Interessante anche l'architettura!
TFS!
