Photographer's Note
A number of houses in Amsterdam have a notable tilt, since the town is actually built on water.
This fine façade is one example: I rotated the pic. anyway possible to reassure that it was taken right…and concluded this is the right tilt.
I do not remember the exact location - so no map attached.

Hello Ike
Could it be the work of Edifis in "Asterix and Cleopatra" who, according to the queen, was the best architect in Alexandria.
But his buildings always seem to be on the point of caving in!!
Stunning alignment indeed!
Shalom.

Hello Ike,
These facades always make interesting subjects for photographers. A very charming with beautiful art work. I like the black door which stands out well against the dull color of the wall. Nice partial view of the bicycle.

Good morning Ike,
I don't know how I've missed this one before...because it sure caught my eye this time as I was browsing through your pictures. What fascinating and awkward lines in this facade/building! I don't know where to begin, everything looks off balance, but it doesn't feel that way. I don't quite know how to explain it, but I can't stop looking!? :) The arched doorway, the windows, the large emblem above the door, the brick and stone textures...there's so much to take in and try to figure out here, and I love it. Thanks for finding and sharing this little slice of Amsterdam, very intriguing!
Cheers,
Jason
