Windmills are the trademark of Holland as everybody knows. You can see those beautiful windmills in Zaanse Schans.
Zaanse Schans is a neighbourhood of Zaandam, near Zaandijk in the municipality of Zaanstad in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. It has a collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses; the ca. 35 houses from all over the Zaanstreek were moved to the museum area in the 1970s. The Zaans Museum, established in 1994, is located in the Zaanse Schans.
The Zaanse Schans is one of the popular tourist attractions of the region and an anchor point of ERIH, the European Route of Industrial Heritage. The neighbourhood attracts approximately 900,000 visitors every year.
The windmills were built after 1574.

Indeed, windmills are often linked to the Netherlands.
That day the sky wasn't the best you could have. But you managed to present us four windmills nicely on a row with an excellent view of the one on the foreground.
The biker adds life to the picture and the water at the left completes the characteristic image of Holland.
Best regards, Paul

I like sharpness and kind of color-blocking in this photo. Sometimes, I find that photos come out with much more attention to details and focus on depth of colors with subdued lighting in overcast conditions.

Un ciel pas top mais une présentation superbe , bien cadrer montrant les quatre moulins, le coin d'eau et le cycliste , une image typique de la Hollande, beau rendu des couleurs

this photo is very well composed with all the elements organized together into very well working wholeness. The colors are nice and contrasting and sharpness perfectly given. It is a real shame that you were not given more light - but there is nothing one can do about it. Very attractive picture!

A lots of people don't know that this windmills
helpt the Dutch to make the big sea fleet and
makes the Netherland richest country (okay
there were more wind mills that time) on the
world. Even Peter the Great (Rusia) worked there
(later in Amsterdam).
The lines of the path and poles creates a nice
depth in the picture. Light management and the
composition are also very good.
