Photographer's Note

Am Fluß Zaan stand vor mehr als hundert Jahren Mühle an Mühle, einige wenige sind in der "Zaanse Schans" erhalten. Dies ist ein Foto von 1971, inzwischen ist zum Panorama noch mindestens eine Mühle dazugekommen und das Museumsdörfchen ist um ein Besucherzentrum erweitert worden. Unter anderem ist dort das Verkade-Museum untergebracht, man lernt eine Menge über Schokolade und Kekse und noch viel mehr.

Hi Elvira,
A picture with two dimensions; the portrait of the artist and the art that he is performing. I have some personal memories of this place, I had a very good dinner at a restaurant here with my collegues from our sister company not far away, at Krommenie. This is also a well cropped picture.

Hallo Harriet. Hier könnte man sagen: Oldie but Goldie. Diese alten Fotos haben ihren eigenen Reiz, auch wenn sie nicht mit der digitalen technischen Qualität mithalten können. Aber das entscheidende ist ja der Inhalt, und der ist mit diesem schönen Foto bestens repräsentiert. Vor allem auch der Blickwinkel und die Komposition sind excellent. Viele Grüß0e, Wolfgang.
